Originally a popular Malay folk song, this new version of "Ikan Kekek" is arranged by Malay conductor Yu Hang Tan and USC Oriana Choir. We filmed and edited its music video and weaved it together with videos the Oriana singers submitted from home. As a reaction to COVID, the piece tells a story about togetherness despite distance. The sheet music for Yu Hang's arrangement has been purchased thousands of times to date for choruses worldwide to sing and enjoy.
